Angels of the north
Svensk Luftambulans carries out advanced HEMS with intensive care capability in some of the most remote regions of Europe. Currently operating out of four bases, they cover the heavily forested and scarcely populated Swedish inland and far north. These hard working men and women provide expert care where no other is to be had. Often working against the clock in extreme conditions, putting down their H145’s among the pines and doing what they can to save lives. A perfect example of what the modern aircrew can do for civil society.
